Joseph Weaver Jr.
Executive Director, North America

Weaver is a certified Health Information Technology expert for a reputable organization in the United States, with vast experience in Electronic Medical Records management, deployment and database management. His areas of studies include MBA in Health Care Management and a Master of Science in Management Information Systems. He graduated with a B.A Honors in International Relations and History from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone.
Weaver has served as a lecturer at the Institute of Public Administration and Management (USL) and loves writing scholarly articles. He is also a Ph.D. student in the field of Health Management and Policy formulation. He became a member of the Auradicals entity in 1990 and served as Pen Pusher (secretary) of the organization in the 1993/94 academic year. He enjoys reading, traveling, volunteering, debating contemporary issues and playing music as a hobby.

Alhassan Kargbo
Executive Director, Sierra Leone

Kargbo has acquired extensive experience in the Public Service as Deputy Director of the Public Education and Outreach Department, Anti-Corruption Commission, Sierra Leone, where he also served as Deputy Director of the Systems and Processes Review Department; Legal Officer; Chief of Intelligence; Head of Outreach; Public Relations Officer and Spokesman. He was National Professional Officer, Human Rights, at the United Nations Integrated Peace-building Office in Sierra Leone. Kargbo has also taught International Relations at both undergraduate and graduate levels at the University of Sierra Leone. He has also worked in the United States.

Kargbo has a vast experience and expertise in coalition building, rule of law, human rights, strategic communications, and management.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws with Honors from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone; Master of Arts (cum laude) in Anti-Corruption Studies, from the International Anti-Corruption Academy, Austria. He is also a Senior Chevening Scholar, University of York, United Kingdom, specializing in “Reforming the Security and Justice Sectors in Post-Conflict Contexts.” He also studied “International Relations and Humanitarian Organizations” at the Red Cross Folk College in Sweden. Kargbo is a product of the International Law Enforcement Academy in New Mexico, USA, where he studied “Model Law Reform,” and “Executive Policy and Development,” and United States Defense Institute of International Legal Studies, where he studied “Maritime Security and Law Enforcement.”

Kargbo served as head of the Auradicals at Fourah Bay College. He was also a member of the Fourah Bay College Human Rights Clinic, and contributed to efforts to set up the Court Monitoring institution that is currently known as Center for Accountability and Rule of Law (CARL). He is a founding member of Manifesto 99, a Freetown-based human rights organization. Kargbo has published articles in international academic journals. He is a member of the Sierra Leone Association of Journalists, and has previously worked for local and international media outlets.
He was also an independent contractor in Sierra Leone for the US State Department.

Abdul Kader
Executive Director, UK/EU

Abdul is an alumnus of Fourah Bay College University of Sierra Leone. He graduated in 2003 with an honors degree in Sociology. He was elected President of Solomon Caulker Hall for the 2002/03 academic year.

Abdul worked for the International Rescue Committee and CARE International, Sierra Leone, where he made outstanding contributions to the rehabilitation and reintegration of child ex-combatants and helped to re-establish rural community structures in
human rights monitoring before proceeding to the United Kingdom to pursue a Master in Business Administration at the University of Wales, Cardiff in 2010.

He further trained as a Quantity Surveyor at the Heriot Watt University, where he obtained a masters degree in Quantity Surveying in 2016.

Abdul lives and works in England as a Quantity Surveyor, with a passion to support community works.
